General Liability

General Liability protects your business from another party’s claims of bodily injury or property damage. Liability insurance is a part of the general insurance system of risk financing to protect the purchaser (the "insured") from the risks of liabilities imposed by lawsuits and similar claims. It protects the insured in the event he or she is sued for claims that come within the coverage of the insurance policy.

  • Customer injuries or property damage
  • Damage on your rental premises
  • Product liability
  • Advertising injuries (libel and slander)
  • Legal defense costs

EXAMPLE: You own a restauarant and there’s water on the floor of the bathroom. A customer accidentally slips, falls, and hurts his/her back. Medical bills, lawyer fees, and other expenses are covered under General Liability insurance.
